Project route

Moment | A local-first personal journal concept

A paper-stage concept for lightweight notes, timeline review, and local storage. The public page covers only product principles and immediate tasks.

One current goal: make capture easier

The concept begins with one simple action: write a sentence and save it. It requires no streak and adds no extra steps merely to increase the feature count.

The current scope covers text capture, timeline review, and basic search so people can find what they wrote. Other capabilities are not part of the public plan.

Public principles before feature count

Personal notes may contain private material, so the current principle is local storage by default with user-controlled viewing, export, and deletion. Uploading the text is not a baseline requirement.

All demonstrations and tests use fictional examples rather than private notes. Public pages describe only the necessary interaction scope and omit unfinished internal designs.

Keep the route to the next step

The public route covers only the next step: connect capture, review, search, export, and deletion into one clear flow without expanding unverified features.

Only after the basic flow works as a paper prototype will actual development be considered. Unverified ideas remain internal rather than becoming public promises.

Project updates

Narrowed the public scope and current task

Narrowed the public material to lightweight capture, timeline review, local storage, and user-controlled data handling. Unnecessary personal provenance, internal details, and distant ideas were removed, leaving only a basic flow that can be tested soon.

Next: Use fictional content to sketch a low-fidelity capture, review, search, export, and deletion flow, then decide whether development is warranted.
